who we are
Leslie Y. Wilson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. Shortly after graduation, she joined Architectural Research Office in New York City. In 1996, she acted as an Associate Director of Store Design for Prescriptives/Estee Lauder. While she was with the company and later as a consultant, she worked on creating new brand identities for various Estee Lauder companies such as Prescriptives, Bobby Brown and Tommy Hilfiger Cosmetics. She also worked with MR Architecture and Anderson/Schwartz Architects, as Project Designer for numerous civic, commercial and residential projects. She relocated to Santa Monica, California to join Van Tilburg, Banvard and Soderbergh, and shifted gears to work on large scale multi-family housing projects such as Westwood Palazzo and Palazzo Park La Brea. Later, she joined Frank O.Gehry Architects and worked as a Project Architect of the new FOG office facility and the building it resides in Los Angeles, California. As an Associate, she also worked on many recent projects of the firm such as Art Gallery of Ontario, Brighton Housing Development, Brooklyn Housing Development and Beekman Tower in New York City. As a senior project manager with Jones Lang LaSalle/ Project Development Services, she managed numerous high profile projects for major national hospitality and corporate clients including Host Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt Development, T.Rowe Price and Charles Schwab.
Scott A. Natvig is a licensed architect who received his Master of Architecture Degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design, a Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Environmental design at the University of Minnesota.
Before founding Scott Andrew Natvig Design (S.A.N.D) in 2001, Scott worked for the offices of Frank Gehry, Cambridge Seven Architects, Architectural Alliance, Cuningham Group and Mulfinger, Susanka and Mahady. He has worked on teams responsible for projects as diverse as several Oceanariums in Japan, Dublin, and the US Virgin Islands, a Museum of Biodiversity in Panama, a high-rise housing project in Bangkok as well as a variety of commercial and residential projects in California, Arizona, the US Virgin Islands, Minnesota, and New York.
He has been on several design teams that have placed as finalists for competitions including, the National Art Museum of China, the Fukushima Aquarium in Japan, and the Charlotte Amalie Waterfront project in St Thomas, USVI. Most recently, Scott teamed up with some former colleagues at Fer Studio and Torgen Johnson Design to win the Solana Beach Train Station Development Project.
Scott was also a professor of Architectural Design for several years at the Boston Architectural College, and has been published in Harvard Magazine.
Ryan J. Wilson
Inspiration in residence
James M. Wilson is a native Californian and a third generation craftsman. His intuitive understanding of natural and cultural environmental contexts of 'California living' is vividly evident throughout his work. Shortly after receiving a Bachelor of Architecture at Southern California Institute of Architecture (Sci-Arc), he joined progressive California firms and worked on various high-end residential and retail projects. In1988, he started his first solo venture 'Design Intervention' to explore innovative designs that focused on enhancing the authentic California life style in the tradition of Richard Neutra and Roudolph Schindler. Years later, he joined Benton, Park Candereva to work as a Project Manager and broaden his scope to multi-family residential projects. He was later invited to join the firm as a partner. In 1997, He joined Van Tilburg, Banvard and Soderberg, as an Associate, he has managed many of their large multi-family residential projects such as Palazzo Park La Brea, Villa Azure, Alexan Savoy, and The Marlow Apartments in Hollywood, ranging from 60 to 2500 units. He moved to Cuningham Group to lead their housing studio and expanded the firm's housing portfolio to include high-rise residential and hospitality developments. He joined WWCOT Architects to nurture their young housing studio in 2008. The firm just completed construction of a108-unit Senior Housing development in Reseda, CA and design of 130-unit senior housing development in Covina, CA.
Jennifer Termini is an esteemed interior designer and creative visionary best known for creating unique and beautifully texturized interiors with a keen eye for incorporating a multitude of abstract, organic shaped elements into otherwise traditionally geometric environments. Over the past 15 years, with acclaimed, award winning design and architectural firms such as Koncept Design Group*, Creative Resource Associates**, Gin Wong Associates, Warren Sheets Design and Concepts 4, she has transformed numerous hotel lobbies, ballrooms, meeting spaces, pre-function areas, concierge lounges, bars and restaurants into warm, inviting respites. In addition to upscale, full service hotels, Jennifer has designed select corporate offices, condominium towers, sorority environments and private residences for high-profile clientele.
Termini received her B.A. in Interior Design / Environmental Studies from the California State University of Long Beach. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

A:FOGA Art & Design Co-Op
In 2010, Leslie Wilson, the principal of Bricolage founded A:FOGA (After Frank O. Gehry Architects)
- an architects alumni co-op.
Going through another deep repression cycle in the deeply impacted building industry,
many of architects realized that the only way to survive is to stay small and utilize flexible work force.
Leslie Wilson has reached out all architects who have worked and left FOGA (Frank O. Gehry Architects) over the years,
and laid down the foundation for resource sharing and collaboration.
Started with 13 firms in 2010, now the co-op has 104 members consisting of architectural firms, furniture fabricators, art consultants, developers, project managers, professors and artists:
who all share the experience at FOGA, and familiar with each other’s strength.
The co-op has completed numerous collaboration projects supporting each other
from single family residences to large scale development projects.
It allows the member firms to go from one person to hundred staff studio quickly
only when they need to, without any probation period.
For clients, they get to work with a project team of experienced and licensed architects, at very low overhead.
A:FOGA believes that this is the model of practice of the future.
