Hyatt Development’s rebranding of the iconic 1960s Continental Hyatt House, known as the “Riot House" for its rock-and-roll legacy, included a full renovation of guestrooms and amenities. The hotel remained fully operational throughout, guided by a carefully phased plan to minimize guest disruption. Upgrades included all guestrooms, the lobby, and rooftop terrace. The original circular restaurant, once clad in flagstone, was demolished and reimagined as a sleek, glass-enclosed addition. The renovation culminated in a dramatic Jacob Hashimoto installation, signaling the property’s rebirth as Andaz West Hollywood—a modern luxury destination with deep cultural roots.
